Wisley Common - MABAC Route Confirmed

Published on 12 October 2025 at 17:42

Some of the Puffers were out in force this morning, finalising the route plan for 16th November!

Wisley Common is a new venue for MABAC and is taking place with the agreement of Surrey County Council, which owns the land, and the support of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). It is located in the triangle between the M25 and A3 at Junction 10, so easy to get to for most clubs. To access it, leave the A3 at the first exit after the M25 when heading towards Guildford (Ockham Park roundabout, what3words coins.ruins.cakes) then head down Wisley Lane for 1.4 miles. The car park will be signposted on the right (what3words for the entrance retire.being.belong), approximately 200 metres beyond the Wren's Nest car park. Do NOT use any other car parks in the vicinity, as they are both less convenient and doing so will cause frustration to other users. Toilet facilities will be available in the car park. The starting point will be signposted from the car park but is on the common (what3words curiosity.takes.back.) While there should be ample car parking available, car-pooling is still recommended.

When the MABAC community descend on Wisley in their numbers! Lets make this an event to remember.
